The MANN family has been cultivating the vineyard since 1793. The vineyard was partly destroyed or even abandoned and the means of production had been seriously damaged by the war. The whole family was mobilised and involved in this project. In 1970, following the death of Joseph Wunsch, Joseph Mann took over the reins of the company. 4 of Joseph Mann’s 7 children then became involved in the company over the years: Jean-Louis, Michèle, Jacques, and Marc. After his death in 1984, his wife, Marie-Rose Mann, took over the family business until 2004, when she decided to pass it on to her two sons, Jean-Louis and Jacques.
