Château

rouquette

Château Rouquette is one of the oldest vineyards in the Entre Deux Mers region. Nestling in the Gironde highlands, between the Dordogne and the Garonne, the château was built in 1346 and from then on it has written its history in wine.

Destroyed during the siege of the town of Pellegrue by the English during the Hundred Years’ War, Château Rouquette was rebuilt in the 17th century. At that time, the estate was one of the largest in the region, covering more than 1000 hectares.
